SAFE CRIBS
The safe cribs for Missouri program provides portable cribs and safe sleep education to low-income families who have no other resources for obtaining a crib. The program is administered by the department of health and senior services (DHSS) through federal funding from the Maternal Child Health services block grant (Title V) and state funding from the children’s trust fund. The overall goal of the program is to support families and reduce the risk of sleep-related infant deaths.
Lead Case Management
We provide case management for children with elevated blood lead levels.
TEMPORARY MEDICAID/SHOW ME HEALTHY BABIES
We assist people with applying for temporary Medicaid coverage during pregnancy, to help make sure you can afford the healthcare you need. Must meet financial requirements.
CHILD CARE CONSULTATIONS
Nurse consultation is provided for area daycares, including education for childcare providers, children, and their parents.
CAR SEAT CHECKS
A properly installed car seat can save your child’s life. We have a certified car seat installer ready to help you! Appointments are preferred.
