Well Water Testing

Water collection kits with instructions for testing well water can be picked up at the Health Center. The kits needs to be brought back in to the Health Center by noon the same day as it is collected and a courier from the State Lab will pick it up. Results will be sent back from the State Lab directly to the client.

Lodging Inspections

Missouri State Law (Chapter 315 RSMo) requires lodging establishments be inspected and licensed by the Missouri Department of Health and Human Services. Restaurant/Foodservice Inspections

The Environmental Specialist is responsible for conducting sanitation inspections on food establishments to decrease the probability of a food or water-borne incident occurring in the county. Those subject to inspection include restaurants, taverns, retail food stores, food processors and distributors, schools and senior nutrition sites. Lead Poisoning

We are expanding our Lead Poisoning Prevention offerings thanks to a new grant from the CDC in the amount of $186,000. We are expanding access to blood lead testing, providing community education, and access to lead inspections in private housing.
