Though the emergency phase of COVID-19 is passed, the disease still spreads in our communities. It still poses a threat to elderly and immunocompromised individuals. Many people still suffer from long-COVID symptoms.

Most of our COVID-19 information on this website is no longer updated. We have provided an archive page to view some of this older information, for reference only.

Summary of Current Recommendations

Masking

Immunocompromised individuals may choose to mask. Other people may consider masking to reduce transmission of COVID-19 and other respiratory illnesses, any time they are around others who are masking or when they are sick.

Vaccines

It’s easier than ever to get vaccinated for adults. Just one dose is all that’s needed to become up to date. Visit the immunization page for more information.

Isolation and Quarantine

Quarantine (after an exposure and without symptoms) is no longer recommended.

Isolation (when you have COVID-19 or you have been exposed and you exhibit symptoms) is still recommended for at least 5 days. If you cannot isolate for 5 days, wear a mask until you are fever free and your symptoms are improving. You may be infectious for up to 10 days.
