Dent County Health Center Board of Trustees
Call to Order and Roll Call
Bob Parsons, Chairman of the Board of Trustees, called the meeting to order at 5:00 p.m.; in attendance were board members Bob Gravley, Carol Lacy, and Bob Parsons, Dennis Floyd. Zach Moser, Administrator, Roma Jones. Board member Lori Hasten arrived shortly after roll call.
Minutes and Agenda
The minutes for the October 17th and 23rd meetings were reviewed. Robert Gravley moved to approve the minutes. Carol Lacy seconded, and the motion carried.

- Community Health Assessment – Updates shared on the initiative to perform a formal CHA.
- New Opportunities – Zach shared with the board on potential new grants.
- Strategic Plan – Progress on the Strategic Plan was discussed.
- New Physician – Dr. Anil Gupta Started on November 4th.
Expenses
DCHC financial reports for September were reviewed. Current Assets at end of the month were $1,276,800.69. Total assets were $1,953,602.97, total liabilities were $173,980.17, and equity was $1,779,622.80. Revenue for the month was $95,899.88, expenses were $106,051.48 for net operating revenue of -$10,151.60. After other revenue and expenses, net revenue was $-12,890.03.
Bob Gravley moved to approve the financial reports. Carol Lacy seconded. Motion carried.
New Business:
- Resolution 2024-01 – A resolution authorizing the administrator to sign title paperwork on behalf of the Board was presented. Carol Lacy moved to approve the resolution. Lori Hasten seconded and the motion carried.
- Draft Budget – A draft budget was presented. Zach is to meet with the treasurer to discuss in more detail and present a final version of the budget at the December meeting.
- New Position – FIMR Program – Carol Lacy moved to approve the creation of 2 new positions pending final contract award by DHSS. Bob Gravley seconded and the motion carried.
Closed Session
At 6:00pm, Lori Hasten moved to close the meeting pursuant to subsections 3,12,13 of 610.021 RSMo. Dennis Floyd seconded. A roll call vote was held as follows: Bob Parsons – Aye, Bob Gravley – Aye, Carol Lacy – Aye, Lori Hasten – Aye, Dennis Floyd – Aye.
At 6:29 pm, the board returned to open session having discussed personnel, but having taken no votes.
Next Meeting and Adjournment
The next regular board meeting date was set for Thursday, December 19th, 2024 @ 5:00 p.m.
With no further business Dennis Floyd moved to adjourn the meeting at 6:40 p.m. This was seconded by Bob Gravley and all were in favor. Meeting adjourned.
