Dent County Health Center Board of Trustees
Call to Order and Roll Call
Bob Parsons, Chairman of the Board of Trustees, called the meeting to order at 5:00 p.m.; in attendance were board members Bob Gravley, Carol Lacy, Bob Parsons, Dennis Floyd. Also present were Zach Moser, Administrator, Roma Jones, Assistant Administrator. Board member Lori Hasten was absent.
Minutes and Agenda
The minutes for the December 19th Meeting were reviewed. The corrected minutes from November 21st were also reviewed. Carol Lacy moved to approve the minutes. Bob Gravley seconded and the motion carried.

Administrator Report – Zach Moser
- Health Fair Scheduled – May 2nd, 2025.
- 1014 E. Scenic Rivers Blvd – Zach shared the conference room had been moved to the new building and the old conference room had been set up for office space.
- Grants – Zach announced the approval of a grant from SMH to support a dietician. Dennis Floyd moved to approve the addition of the position. Bob Gravley seconded and the motion carried.
- Other Grants – Zach gave a summary of other grants which had been applied for or were in the process, including a proposal sent to the Opioid Settlement Board for Dent County as well as a partnership grant between Healthy Dent County, Salem Memorial Hospital, and DCHC.
Expenses
DCHC financial reports for December were reviewed. Current Assets at end of the month were $1,218,475.86. Total assets were $2,299,179.73, total liabilities were $387,301.40, and equity was $1,911,878.33. Revenue for the month was $167,524.69, expenses were $124,485.72 for net operating revenue of $43,038.97. After other revenue and expenses, net revenue was $45,945.89.
Revenue For FY 24 was $1,766,750.66 and expenses were $1,369,203.88 for net revenue of $397,546.78 for the year.
Bob Gravley moved to approve the financial reports. Carol Lacy seconded. Motion carried.
New Business:
- Insurance – With the new building, Zach is obtaining quotes for insurance but has not received all quotes at this time.

The next regular board meeting date was set for Thursday, February 20th, 2025 @ 5:00 p.m.
With no further business Carol Lacy moved to adjourn the meeting at 7:25 p.m. This was seconded by Dennis Floyd and all were in favor. Meeting adjourned.
