The Dent County Health Center had a table at the ever-popular Girls Night Out event at the Salem Community Center on September 14th. The display highlighted our Women’s Health programs, which include:
- Family Planning
- Birth Control (for men and women)
- STI/STD Testing and Treatment
- Income-based rates (even if you have insurance)
- and more.
- Show-Me Healthy Women
- Free breast and cervical cancer screenings
- STI/STD program
- Free testing and treatment for gonorrhea, syphilis, and chlamydia
- Free testing for HIV
- Other STI testing available
- WIC (Women, Infants, and Children) Nutrition Program
- Income based supplemental nutrition program
During the event, DCHC gave out 12 emergency contraception kits and 22 boxes of Narcan for overdose reversal.
Free EC kits, Narcan, and condoms are available daily at DCHC without an appointment.
