- Reduce the chance of frozen water lines.
- Insulate water lines to help reduce water from freezing.
- Block air from getting into crawl space.
- If you have a well, make sure heat light or heater is on and closed up tight.
- If you Lose Power
- Close doors to rooms not in use to conserve heat.
- Plastic any drafty windows and doors.
- Make sure to get any extra blankets that are stored out and dress in layers.
- Keep generators outside in well ventilated areas!!
- Check batteries in smoke alarms and carbon monoxide detectors.
- Keep Pets Safe!
- Pets should have a warm safe place to get out of the cold if they choose.
- Pets should have access to food and have drinkable water.
