Zach Moser, PharmD, MBA, BCPS
AdministratorZach Moser is a pharmacist and public health leader born and raised in Salem, Missouri. His wife, Mary, and two children, John and Amelia, live with him on their small farm south of Salem. He received his doctorate in Pharmacy from the University of Health Sciences and Pharmacy in St. Louis (formerly known as St. Louis College of Pharmacy) in 2014. After practicing as a pharmacist for six years, he earned his board certification in Pharmacotherapy from the Board of Pharmacy Specialties in 2020. He earned his Master of Business Administration degree from Webster University in 2021. He has six years of experience in hospital pharmacy practice and 3 years in community pharmacy practice. In 2021, he entered the world of public health when he joined the Dent County Health Center (DCHC) as Administrator. During his time at DCHC, he has helped to create several new public health programs, such as COVID testing and treatment, childcare assistance program, a nurse practitioner program, and more. He eagerly seeks out new opportunities to improve the health and well-being of Dent County residents.
Brittany Shepherd, RN
Clinical Services ManagerBrittany Shepherd is a Registered Nurse with 10 years of experience in a variety of settings: including medical-surgical, obstetrics, dialysis, immunology, and public health. She grew up in Salem, MO where she met her husband, Caleb. They have two sons, Titan and Isaiah. Brittany has a passion for women’s health and is currently overseeing clinical operations. She is a CPR instructor providing multiple CPR classes for people in our community.
Trisha O'Neil, RN
Lead Assessor and Staff RNTrisha O’Neil is a registered nurse with over 9 years of experience in the nursing field, with an additional 10 years in health and safety. She is the Lead (Pb) case manager and risk assessor. Her background includes Med Surg, Corrections, Surgery, Hospice, and Family Practice/OBGYN. Her passion is to help people and build professional relationships within the community.
Sonnya Hayes
WIC ClerkMy name is Sonnya Hayes. I have been with Dent County Health Center for 3 years this October. I worked for US Foods for 20 years. Taking a job in public health has been a very different, but gratifying experience. My job as a front desk clerk requires computer skills, a basic understanding about immunizations, WIC Program, scheduling, and basic office skills. I am very grateful for this job opportunity. I was raised in Dent County, and have raised 3 wonderful children here. I enjoy spending time with all my family and friends.
Roma Jones
Assistant Administrator, EnvironmentalistRoma Assists the Administrator in the daily operations of the Health Center. She also works as the WIC Nutritionist, where she counsels women who are pregnant, breastfeeding, and postpartum as well as infants and children up to the age of 5 on their nutritional needs. She is also the Environmental Public Health Specialist and conducts the restaurant and lodging inspections for Dent County. She received her BS degree from Truman State University. She lives with her husband in Salem and has two grown children and a granddaughter.
Joan Raulston
WIC CoordinatorJoan Raulston grew up in Salem and has been with the Dent County Health Center for 27 Years. She is currently the WIC Coordinator and billing clerk. Joan’s career started as a part time clerk and has expanded to a wide variety of job roles over the years which included installing car seats, teaching abstinence-based education in the schools, and working side by side with nurses to maintain a healthy immunization program. Joan is married to Randal Raulston, and they have two children, Jessica and Jacob and two granddaughters, Elizabeth and Savannah.
Board of Trustees
Regular Meetings are held at 5:00pm on the third Thursday of the month at 5pm at the Dent County Health Center. Meeting agendas are posted at the Health Center in advance according to Missouri Sunshine Laws.
